A little bit about Queenie

Introducing the most beautiful pup in the world, Queenie!

Queenie was surrendered to the shelter after moving around different homes and never finding a place to call her own. She is desperate to be chosen by her forever family, where she can feel safe and won't be left behind.

Queenie can be quite nervous and shy to start with, but once she warms up to you she is just the sweetest girl who loves giving her human friends kisses.

Queenie really is the belle of the ball as she is suitable for living with young kids (as long as they promise to stay calm and take things slow), and she may also be suited to living with some doggy siblings. Make sure to bring any resident dogs along to the shelter to do a meet and greet with Queenie.

Queenie would prefer parents who do not work full-time and can dedicate time and energy to work on some mild destructive behaviours she has exhibited in the past when she is left home alone and unsupervised. This has mostly involved digging in the garden when left outside alone. If you are patient and provide her with plenty of exercise, enrichment and training, Queenie will likely overcome these challenges in no time at all.
