A little bit about Smudge

Introducing BIG SMUDGE!

Smudge is an adorable, character filled boy, ready to add a spot of spice to your life!

Dalmatians are energetic and bouncy dogs and Smudge is no exception. He is a hurricane of excitement, and he loves getting the chance to run out all that built up energy. Smudge loves toys and working his brain on treat puzzles, but by far his favourite thing to do is get out for a really long walk or run!

He will need lots of mental enrichment such as kongs, licky-mats and treat puzzles to keep his mind active. He has boundless amounts of energy and would love a big backyard with other dogs or kids to grow up with (keep in mind, Smudge is still learning that not everyone enjoys having a fully grown Dalmatian jump on them to say hello). Smudge enjoys a large exercise session then to curl up in his bed and lazy the day away. While in Smudge's previous home he was almost solely outdoors, we have figured out this boy would actually prefer to be indoors with his humans more often than not. He is a fearful or storms and fireworks, and during these events will need to safe inside so he is not at risk of trying to escape - secure fencing for him is also important!

Our spotted boy is not a fan of cats so he would need a feline-free household. He has shown some appropriate behaviour with dogs at both the Shelter and in his previous home, but just like humans, we don't always vibe with everyone. A meet and greet with any existing dogs from your home will be important to ensure that the chemistry is there!
