A little bit about Monica

Our mighty Monica is on the hunt for her forever home and she would love it to be you!

Surrendered into our care as her previous owners were unable to care for her, Monica is ready to start her next chapter in life, and she hopes this chapter is full of love!

At just over 3 years old and weighing in at 37kg, Monica is about as Bull-Arab as it gets! Those familiar with the breed know that they are highly active dogs and loyal companions to their owners.

Monica is looking for an active family willing to show her what true love means! Monica would also love to go home with another dog of similar temperament....think high energy! However, Monica is not a huge fan of young children and would much prefer to be in the company of secondary school-aged children and above!

Monica has already mastered the art of sitting but could do with some help learning more skills. Reward-based training is the best way to teach Monica her skills as she is VERY food motivated!

At the moment Monica does show anxiety when left alone, and she would prefer a family that is home more often than not. However, it is important Monica understands that being alone is not scary. There are lots of enrichment toys our adoptions staff can reccomend that will help keep Monica's mind happy and busy for the times when she is left alone.

Additionally, from being in the shelter Monica is quite over-whelmed around meeting new people, but we promise with patience...and TREATS Monica is destined to be a big snugglebug in no time!
