A little bit about Monica

Our Marvelous Monica is on the hunt for her forever home, and she would love it to be you!

Surrendered into our care and returned twice, Monica is looking for her forever home who can handle her big body and even bigger heart! Monica is ready to start her next chapter in life, and she hopes this chapter is full of love.

At just under 4 years old and weighing in at 37kg, Monica is about as Bull-Arab as it gets! Those familiar with the breed know that they love to zoom before crashing into your lap for some well deserved cuddles. Speaking of which, cuddles are her absolute favourite!! She would love nothing more than to spend the day snuggling on your feet after a long walk or playtime in the yard.

This gorgeous girl loves a walk, but as she's all muscle and is still learning not to pull as she gets distracted by everything she sees. She'll need to go home with a compulsory balance harness to ensure you're walking her, not she's walking you! Monica is also quite picky about her other canine friends. Out and about she tends to not like other dogs, and gets overwhelmed by them quite easily. At this stage we'd recommend no off lead walks or activities for a long time while she learns to listen to you, and for her to be the only dog in your life!

Monica is looking for an loving family willing to show her what true love means. She has no idea of her size, and shows her affection by jumping her whole body into you for much needed head rubs and kisses. Because of this, she would much prefer to be in the company of dog savvy secondary school-aged children and above!

Monica has already mastered the art of sitting but could do with some help learning more skills. Reward-based training is the best way to teach Monica her skills as she is VERY food motivated!
