Introducing Robbie,
This handsome tank of a boy is ready to find his new forever home!
He arrived at the shelter as as stray through no fault of his own & is now ready to put his shelter days behind him.
Robbie is best suited to an older household with no young children, as he is quite big & boisterious but in true Shar-Pei fashion can be a little aloof with new people at first & does like his own space.
There is potential for him to go home with another dog, however he does get VERY excited around them so they'd have to be a super tolerant doggo. He also still needs to work on his social skills whilst out & about meeting other dogs learning not to get so excited.
Robbie is a lovely boy but is pretty strong on lead, so needs to go home with a balance harness sold here & someone who is strong & comfortable walking this handsome strong man.
He'd love a calm & patient new home with new adopters willing to give him the time & space to open up in his own time, it would be great if you were willing to put in the time to do some on going confidence building & further training & socialisation.
If you're interested in adopting him come on down to the North Melbourne shelter to meet him.
