A little bit about Roo

Introducing our resident Roo, bouncy by name & nature!

This exhuberant young man arrived at the shelter through no fault of his own & is now searching for his new forever home.

Roo has been working hard on his big puppy energy, he's best suited to an older household with no young children whilst he works on his impulse control & skills when meeting new people.

Whilst he has some positive social skills around other dogs, at this stage he needs to be the only dog in the household as he continues to build his confidence & socialbility around other dogs. He's not suitable to go home with cats or small animals either.

Roo is a great boy who would really thrive in a home with his new owners prepared to do put in some work with some on going training & socialisation to ensure he continues to develop into a well rounded doggo, he's been getting a little extra support from our onsite behavioural team & they can help you with some tips & tricks to continue to support him in the future.

If you're interested in adopting Roo come on down to our North Melbourne shelter to meet him!
