Meet Louie!

The sweetest gentleman you'll ever see!

Louie is on the lookout for his forever home. Because is an older gentleman he would best thrive in an adults-only (16+) home and he would love to be the only dog living in the home.

He is quite nervous when it comes to handling so lots of positive reinforcements and treats are a must! Louie will warm up to his new humans pretty quickly after spending some on casual walks or just relaxing in the home together.

Louie wants to be the only dog in your world at home, but that doesn't mean he won't be curious and possibly want a few doggo friends outside, please make sure these are gradual and positive introductions.

His confidence is a little low being in the shelter environment, so please make sure when introducing him to new people and environments, that you let him take his time, and acclimate at his own pace.

If you have the patience to give, the love and time for this gentleman to come out of his shell please come down to the shelter and say hello!
