A little bit about Luke

Hey there, I'm Luke, an ex-racing greyhound on the lookout for my forever home! At four years old I'm still full of love and ready to find a family to call my own. But there are a few things you should know about me before we dive in.

First off, I need to be in a home that does not have cats or small animals. However, I'm open to the idea of having another dog buddy to hang out with but I would need to meet them before you adopt me! Plus, I'm totally cool with living in a household with secondary school-aged kids-I'm a gentle giant who's always up for some fun and games!

Now, I'm a good boy through and through, but I do have a history of anxiety. That means I might need some time to warm up to new people and situations. But with patience and understanding, I know I can overcome my worries and become the best companion you could ever ask for.

I'm eager to find a family who can match my energy and make me feel like a valued member of the pack. Gradual introductions to new people and experiences will be key to helping me feel safe and secure in my new home. With a little love and guidance, I know I'll blossom into the confident and loving dog I was always meant to be.
