A little bit about Benji

Introducing our favourite handsome man, Benji!

Benji was surrendered to the shelter by his previous owner who could unfortunately no longer care for him. His previous owner and everyone who has spent time with Benji says that he is such a sweet doggo who just wants to find a forever home filled with lots of loving and endless treats.

Benji is searching for a home with a nice big backyard, as this boy is full of beans! It is also important that Benji's adopters have adequate fencing as he has been a bit of a Houdini escapist in the past...but he promises that he will only be adventurous while on a leash with his owners by his side from now on!!

Because Benji doesn't quite understand that he isn't a tiny lap dog, he will need to be in a home with adults only while he learns to control his impulses. Benji just has a lot of love to give and needs some support learning how to appropriately interact with those around him.

Benji is not suitable to live with cats or other small pets but he may benefit from the company of another similarly sized doggy sibling in his new home. If you have a dog at home and you think they could be great friends with Benji please bring them into the shelter with you to complete a meet and greet together.

Benji is such a gorgeous boy with a lot of love to give. All he wants is to get out of the shelter and into a home that can give him love and support forever.
