With a personality as charming as his adorable face, say hello to Finley! This cutie-pie was brought into our care as a stray, quite scared and unsure of us. But with some extra love and patience he's quickly warmed up, showing us his true silly personality and now he's ready to find his forever family!
Finley is THE definition of a goofy goober. He's always nudging you for playtime or treats, and while not a master at basic commands yet he is a master of a play bow and bunny hops when he gets excited! He would do great with secondary school aged kids or older who love big dogs, and would love to go home with another energy-matched dog friend pending a successful meet and greet. Please bring everyone along to meet him!
At 2 years old he's right in his teenager years, enjoying testing boundaries as any teen would! His favourite pastime right now wanting you to chase his lanky frame around the yard when you're trying to bring him inside, and would much prefer a tussle with people over playing with toys. He will need some extra training in the confidence department; as while an extrovert at home Finley is a little bit of a scaredy cat out in the world. Positive reinforcement and patience will help turn this boy into a confident social butterfly in no time!
We're sure you'll fall under his spell quickly just as fast as we did! Whether it's a tilt of his head while listening to you or leaning his whole 30kg frame on you for a cuddle, Finley is irresistible!
If he sounds like the perfect match for you come to the shelter and adopt him today! He's ready to go home!
Weight: 31.3kg
