A little bit about Peach

Meet Peach!

This sweet little lady found herself in our care, at just over 1 year old, she gave birth in the shelter, and suddenly a baby had to become a mother. Whilst Peach's pup has found their forever home, Peach is still on the lookout!

Peach is a very nervous dog, with little to no socialisation, she does take some time to warm up to new people and places, once she can tell she is safe with you, she will not leave your lap (so be prepared for endless cuddles)

Whilst Peach has shown some appropriate behaviours around other dogs, she may not be the perfect match for any dog, she will need a home that can be with her more often than not, a quiet and safe place to call her own, and if there is another dog in the home they will need to be very respectful of her space whilst she settles in, please make sure you bring your resident pooch in for a meet and greet!

Peach is yet to show much interest in toys and walks, although we know once she is ready she will start to show you her playful and adventurous side, her new family must be committed to ongoing training and confidence building to ensure she is set up for success.

A home with secondary school-aged children or older will be the most appropriate for Miss Peach, her new home will need to take it slow with handling and settling her in, patience and treats will be key to this!

Peach has so much love to give hidden behind her nervous exterior, we know the perfect home is out there just waiting to give an animal in need the love and time they deserve!
