A little bit about Arthur

Are you looking for a handsome sweet man, who you can cuddle with at night? We have the perfect man for you.....but this man has 4 legs!

Introducing our amazing Arthur! Found wandering the cold and dark streets of Melbourne, this boy hasn't had an easy start to life, but he is hoping that you can give him a second chance.

At just over five years old, Arthur is a refined gentleman and believes he is far superior to other dogs. So much so, Arthur would need to be the only dog in the household initially. At the moment he shows some anxiety and conflict around other dogs, but he would eventually benefit from gradual meetings with other friendly dogs.

Arthur has already mastered the skills of sitting and fetching, but he would benefit from some more training to master all his skills! Arthur loves his squeaky toys and could happily play with them for hours on end. Arthur is the perfect addition to any family, but he is not a fan of younger kids, so he would need to go to a family with secondary school-aged children or older.

Arthur also loves his food, almost too much! Our veterinary team have reccommended that Arthur needs to lose weight over the next 3-6 months and his future adopters should be committed to helping him drop the kilos!

Arthur is struggling here at the shelter and would love to find his forever home. He knows his perfect family is out there and is patiently waiting for you to come on down to North Melbourne and take him home today!
