Hey there, I'm Monty, a lively and spirited Heeler ready to be your new best friend and adventure buddy!

I'm known for my high energy and intelligence. I thrive on mental and physical stimulation, always ready for a new challenge or activity. Whether it's hiking, running, or learning new tricks, count me in.

I also enjoy exploring new places and meeting new people and dogs. Treats are a great motivator for me, and I'm eager to learn and please. I would do best in a home where my energy can be channeled into fun activities and training sessions. A family who enjoys outdoor adventures and has the time to give me the exercise and mental stimulation I need would be ideal. A securely fenced yard would be a bonus for me to run around and play in.

I may be okay living with children, my shelter friends just kindly ask that they attend the meet & greet to ensure everyone is comfortable. I may be okay living with another dog, pending a meet & greet at the shelter.
