A little bit about Brownie

Introducing our beautiful boy Brownie!

Brownie has come into our care and he is looking for his forever home with kind people that will show him the love he deserves!

Kelpies are known for being very intelligent breeds and this really shines in Brownie! This does mean that mental enrichment is suuuuper important for this boy as his brain is wired to THINK! Puzzle toys and feeders, as well as training are going to be a great asset for him. This young Kelpie boy would love to go to a home that understands this need for mental and physical enrichment, he loves to run, dig, jump and play!

Brownie will need confidence building around new people and environments, he warms up quickly, gently resting his head on your lap and leaning into you for some pats- we know he wants to find people he can trust and he will become your loyal companion forever! Taking things slowly in the beginning is key, once he warms up to you Brownie enjoys a good cuddle.

While Brownie is a sweet boy the extra noise and affection that comes from small children can be a little overwhelming for him so he would prefer a home with Adults-Only.

Brownie wouldn't mind a doggo pal in the home as long as they're chill and get along with him like a dream. If you have a resident dog in the home please bring them in for a little shelter date so we can see if they are a good match.

His beautiful brown eyes, smiley face, and quirky personality will melt your heart and light up your life everytime you step foot into your home, so please come into LDH and meet/adopt Brownie today!
