Hello, I'm Alira. My name means "clear" and "happy" in Aboriginal language, and honestly, I think that suits me perfectly. I'm a confident girl who knows exactly who she is-and I'm not afraid to let you know it.
I'm not one to hide under the bed or tiptoe around. When you walk into the room, I'll be right there to greet you, tail high, ready with a soft chirp or a little meow to tell you exactly how my day's going. I have a lot to say, and I love it when someone listens.
I adore affection, but I like it the way I like it-head and chin scratches are my absolute favourite. I'll lean right into your hand, eyes half-closed, purring like it's my job. I'm not clingy, but I do enjoy good company. If you're relaxing nearby, I'll likely be curled up within reach, just close enough to remind you I'm here and fabulous.
I've been through a bit of a change recently. My previous family had a baby and, sadly, had to make the difficult decision to surrender me. It wasn't my fault-sometimes life just shifts in ways we don't expect. But I'm ready to start my next chapter.
I'm looking for a home where I can be your one and only-no other cats, please. I like having my space and my humans all to myself. Trust me, I have more than enough personality and love to fill your home.
If you're after a cat with a big heart, a clear voice, and a happy spirit, I just might be the one you've been waiting for.
Come meet me. I'm Alira-and I'm ready to find where I truly belong.
