A little bit about Bam Bam

Bam Bam's story isn't an easy one to tell. Born in a suburban backyard, he grew up in the shadows, hiding under decks, darting through fences, surviving the only way he knew how. For the first year of his life, the world was something to fear.

But slowly, something changed. The kind people who had been leaving food out for him gained his fragile trust. Bit by bit, he began to realise that maybe not everyone meant harm. One day, he was brave enough to stay close and that was the day they brought him to us at The Lost Dogs' Home, safe for the first time in his life.

Here, Bam Bam is still learning what love feels like. He's terrified, yes, he hides, he trembles, and the world is still very big and very new. But behind those wide, watchful eyes is a gentle heart that wants to try. Every tiny step he takes a blink, a soft purr, a moment spent outside his hiding place is a victory worth celebrating.

Adopting Bam Bam won't be easy. He needs someone incredibly patient, someone who understands that progress will come slowly, and that trust must be earned one heartbeat at a time. He will need a quiet home, a safe space where he can retreat when the world feels too overwhelming. There may be days where you wonder if he'll ever truly come around but then, one day, he'll take that first brave step toward you, and you'll know it's all been worth it.

The journey will be long, but the reward is something truly special.

And you won't be alone. Our team will be right beside you, guiding and supporting you every step of the way, helping you understand Bam Bam's world and celebrating every milestone, no matter how small.

Bam Bam is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment. If you can open your heart and home to Bam Bam - or if you're a rescue group able to help - please reach out to us at adoptions@dogshome.com

If you've ever wanted to change a life in the truest, most meaningful way this is your chance.

This website is updated in real time at the conclusion of an adoption. There is a chance that while you are enquiring to meet your potential new pet, he or she may already be involved in an adoption process. If this happens, please consider another animals. Thanks for your patience.
