The thing about Francis is that he's actually a big mooshy boy, but we don't get to see that side of him here. Francis isn't just a grump, he's a cat who simply needs to get out of the shelter.

As soon as he arrived at his foster carer's house, he was all smooches, biscuit making and purrs. Give him a few gentle pats, time to get over himself and before you know it, you're best friends. He's the kind of cat who pretends not to care, but once you've earned his trust (which should be as simple as adopting him), he's all about the love. It's like breaking through a little fortress of fluff, and once you're in, you've got a loyal companion for life.

He's got a bit of a complex, so don't expect him to be a cuddler during your first meeting here at North Melbourne. But give him time, respect his boundaries, and he'll reward you with snuggles and plenty of sweet, quiet moments. A grumpy exterior, yes, but a soft marshmallow on the inside. Francis is the perfect blend of sass and sweetness.
