A little bit about Celeriac Aka. Selly

Meet Celeriac, but you can call him Selly (or "Sir Selly Softpaws" if you're feeling fancy).

Selly is a quiet, sensitive soul who is searching for a calm and understanding home where he can come out of his shell at his own pace. The world can be a bit overwhelming for him. Loud noises, new people, and sudden movements often send him scurrying to his favorite cozy hiding spot. But underneath that shyness is a gentle, affectionate cat just waiting for the right person to show him he's safe and loved.

Selly thrives in peaceful environments and does best with patient people who understand that trust takes time. He doesn't ask for much: a soft spot to nap, a predictable routine, and the space to feel secure. Once he begins to feel comfortable, you'll start to see his true personality shine through, think; soft head nudges, slow blinks of affection, and quiet moments spent curled up beside you. (He will also drool for a good under-chin scratch)

He especially enjoys gentle ear scritches and will gladly settle in for long, peaceful naps by your side. His purr, soft and contented, is something he saves for those quiet, special moments when he feels truly at ease. He may not rush to the door to greet you, but he'll follow you from room to room, quietly keeping you company like a loyal little shadow.

Selly is not looking for a loud or hectic household. A calm home without young children would suit him best. All he really needs is someone who can recognize and appreciate his gentle spirit. If you understand that the most rewarding bonds take time to build, Selly may be the perfect match for you.
