Meet shy guy Moose!
Moose is a special boy who's looking for a peaceful forever home where he can settle in slowly and feel safe. He's not one to rush into new situations, he needs time, space, and understanding to truly come out of his shell, but once he feels comfortable, Moose is a big fan of gentle pats and quiet affection.
At first, Moose may be quite anxious in a new home, to help Moose best settle into his new abode we recommend starting him in a small room with all his essentials, where he can explore gradually, helping build up his confidence (and scent) before moving onto exploring larger spaces.
Moose will thrive in an adult only or teen home with predictable, calm interactions. Young children are not recommended, as he does best when he has choice and control over his environment and social time.
His ideal home is quiet, calm, and routine, with plenty of cozy hiding spots like semi covered cat beds, soft carriers, and cat trees. These help him feel secure while he builds the confidence to explore more and connect with his people.
Moose may take time to settle, but for the adopter willing to go at his pace, he will reward you with deep trust, affection, and a gentle companionship like no other. He really is the sweetest and softest boy once he overcomes his shy guy exterior.
If you believe in the magic of quiet connection and the joy of earning a shy cat's love, Moose might just be the perfect match for you. Head down to the adoptions center today and quietly say hello to this gentle soul.
This website is updated in real time at the conclusion of an adoption. There is a chance that while you are enquiring to meet your potential new pet, he or she may already be involved in an adoption process. If this happens, please consider another animals. Thanks for your patience.
