The Lost Dogs’ Home is delighted to announce it has secured Bronze in this year’s Australasian Reporting Awards.
To receive a Bronze Award a report must provide satisfactory coverage of most of the ARA criteria; present quality disclosures in major areas; and have no more than one significant shortcoming.
The Bronze Award means our report provided satisfactory coverage of most of the demanding ARA criteria and presented quality disclosures in major areas.
This was the first time LDH has entered the Awards.
The Awards provide an opportunity for organisations to benchmark their reports against the ARA criteria and in turn achieve continuous improvement in both quality reporting and delivery of service.
An Annual Report not only helps communicate its activities and accomplishments during the year, but it also recognises special people including staff, donors and volunteers.
The report was designed by the talented team at U-bahn design with in-house production and photography.
The Australasian Reporting Awards state: ‘Techniques of good reporting evolve over time but the fundamentals remain constant. Good reporting requires an open willing attitude, attention to detail and accuracy, a sensitivity and responsiveness to stakeholders, a willingness to put in the effort to communicate effectively and a commitment to achieving and improving upon standards.’
A big thank you to all those involved in the preparation of our award-winning Annual Report. We will endeavour to build on this achievement with our commitment to greater transparency and first class reporting.
