A little bit about Humphrey

Humphrey is a 7-month-old white Staffy x Sharpei with a huge heart and even bigger personality. He has just arrived back from foster care, he thrived with the love and structure of a home environment, and he's now looking for a forever family who can continue his journey with patience, guidance, and plenty of enrichment.

Described by his foster carer as absolutely adorable and loveable, Humphrey is a joyful pup who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. He's affectionate, playful, and full of life-always ready for a cuddle, a zoom around the yard, or to proudly show off his latest toy. He's especially fond of giving kisses and being right in the middle of the action, so a home that embraces his affectionate, energetic nature is essential.

Humphrey is still learning his manners, as is expected at his age. He can get excitable and is prone to jumping up and giving gentle, playful nibbles, so a home without young children would be best for now. With consistent positive reinforcement, he's already making progress and shows great potential. He responds well to redirection, and with the right enrichment-think puzzle toys, training games, and interactive play-he settles beautifully and shows his calmer, cuddly side.

This clever boy benefits enormously from mental stimulation and routine. Continued socialisation will be key to helping him grow into a well-rounded adult dog. He's already showing excellent social skills with other dogs and has formed a strong bond with his foster carer's dog-earning high praise as the best playmate she's ever had. A home with another well-adjusted dog could be ideal, though not essential, as long as he's given regular opportunities to interact and play with friendly dogs.

Humphrey walks well on lead, is eager to learn, and is ready to build on the great foundations he's started in foster care. He's looking for someone who understands the needs of a growing pup and is committed to providing not just love, but structure, training, and a lifestyle rich in activity and engagement.

Humphrey is more than just a sweet face-he's a bright, affectionate young dog with so much potential. With the right home, he'll grow into an incredible companion and a much-loved member of the family.
