Spinach is an ex-racing greyhound who is looking for a retirement home where he can settle down and find love with a new family.

Spinach can be a little reserved at first, but once he warms up to you, he will be leaning into you for pats and cuddles. Spinach is a big boy, at almost 40kg! He has a lot of muscle from his racing days, but is really a big softie at heart. Spinach walks wonderfully on the lead and is always excited to go on a walk.

Because Spinach loves to have a big zoomie run around, he will need to have a backyard in his new home. Once he gets in an excitable mood, he loves to play with soft toys. Spinach would love an adopter who has a lot of time to play with him and also someone who is at home a lot of the time. Spinach loves attention and being around his humans.

Spinach will need to live with adults only. He is suitable to live with other medium or large dogs, provided everyone comes in for a meet and greet, and gets along. Unfortunately, because Spinach has a history of racing, he cannot live with any cats or small dogs.
