Say hello to our gorgeous new pup, Pipsqueak!!!
Unlike her namesake, Pipsqueak is loud and full of life. She is very excitable, super bouncy and energetic. A true summer girl, Pipsqueak loves relaxing and playing in any pool that she can access, no matter how small it is!!
Pipsqueak is a very energetic and boisterous gal who can sometimes get so excited she jumps up on new human friends and can be a bit of a handful on the lead. For this reason, it is best for Pipsqueak to go to a home with only adults or children who are at least 11 years old, and without elderly household members. Pipsqueak is also not suitable for an apartment and needs a home with a decent-sized backyard.
Pipsqueak is not suitable to go to a home with cats or small dogs but may be suitable to another well-matched doggy sibling, pending a successful meet and greet here at the shelter. Pipsqueak would be best suited to another energetic and robust medium or large-sized dog who can handle her occasionally being rough and overly enthusiastic during playtime.
Pipsqueak does have a pre-existing congenital heart defect that currently does not slow her down at all and does not require any medication at this stage. It is strongly recommended that Pipsqueak has a recheck every 6 months to ensure it is monitored and she is as happy and healthy as possible! Our friends at GAP will provide Pipsqueak's adopters with a post-adoption consult and echocardiogram procedure free of charge at GAP's preferred veterinary clinic.
Pipsqueak hasn't had a chance to experience life in a proper home, having only lived in a kennel and raced for her life so far. This sweetheart deserves the chance to relax and experience life as a regular pet where all she needs to worry about is snoozin' on the couch and eating yummy nutritious food.
If you are looking for the cutest and goofiest best friend you simply can't go wrong with our sweet girl Pipsqueak. If you would like to meet her please come down to the shelter today!
