A little bit about Duke

Meet Duke, our sweet Bull Arab cross who is looking for a calm and loving place to call home.

Duke is such a lovely boy, but he can find the world a bit overwhelming at times. Duke is searching for adopters who can help build up his confidence over time. In return, Duke will be the most affectionate and loyal best friend, ready to play in the backyard, learn new tricks and then cuddle up on the couch at the end of the day.

As Duke can be quite fearful around unfamiliar people, he is best suited to an adults-only home (16+), where everyone can take introductions slow and respect his boundaries. While he may be nervous at the beginning, Duke warms up quickly to his human friends and will be asking you for treats in no time at all. Duke has also shown that he is a champion walking on the lead, being very polite and not pulling too much at all.

Due to a scary past incident with another dog, Duke understandably has some conflicted feelings towards other pups. This means that he needs to be the only dog in the household. He believes he deserves triple the treats and toys since he will be the sole dog to spoil!!
