A little bit about Ziggy

Are you ready for people to stop you on the street just to admire how beautiful your dog is? Introducing our sweet girl Ziggy!

Don't be fooled by her facial expression, this girl is as sweet and goofy as they come! She ADORES a zoom around the yard and stetching her long gorgeous legs before leaning into you for a cuddle.

Ziggy was surrendered by her previous owner who unfortunately could no longer care for her anymore. Now she is looking for a second chance at forever...could it be with you?

Ziggy has won over the hearts of the staff here at the shelter who think she is just an angel! She LOVES a cuddle and will do anything (including occasionally jumping on you) if she thinks it will lead to snuggles.

Ziggy can be anxious at times and she needs adopters willing to help build her confidence with handling and being introduced to new environments. For this reason, she would be best suited to a dog savvy home who can be calm and patient while she navigates these challenges. We kindly ask that any children in the home attend the meet & greet to ensure everyone is comfortable.

She is also quite apprehensive around other dogs and needs to be the only dog in the home (plus this means more treats for her!). Her previous owner told us she was also unsure about cats and would be best suited to a house without cats or other small animals.

Ziggy is such a ray of sunshine and she just can't wait to get out of the shelter and into her new home! If you are interested in meeting Ziggy, please come down to the shelter today!
