A little bit about Poncho

Distinguished Man Poncho!

Firstly, what you should know about Poncho is he will sell his soul (and probably yours) for a tennis ball. There is NOTHING in the world that this dog loves more than balls. He will spend many, many hours playing fetch int he backyard (always bringing the ball back) - it is his FAVOURITE thing.

Another thing this boy just love sis toys! He sits an waits patiently at the front of his pen with a stuffed toy in his mouth for his handlers to come in and spend some time with him. He also enjoys rope toys, kongs and puzzle feeders.

Poncho is an active boy, while he looks old with his greying muzzle, he is actually very young at heart. He is a mix of two active and intelligent breeds and is hoping for a home that can nurture his smarts. He loves getting out for a stroll around the block and adores spending time just hanging out with human companions.

While Poncho has lived with other dogs, he doesn't particularly care for them. This boy is a bit of a loner and would much prefer to be surrounding by humane companionship. He will actively ignore other dogs, trotting on past them when out and about.

We highly recommend that you come on down to The Lost Dogs' Home in North Melbourne and spend some time throwing the ball and getting to know Poncho, he will be a great addition to your home!
