A little bit about Robinson

Say hello to Robinson!

Robinson is almost 1 year old and would love nothing more than to get adopted by his 1st birthday! But the 23rd of October is fast approaching and with no new home or adopter in sight, Robinson is set to spend his first birthday at the shelter.

Robinson is a very active guy who enjoys his playtime and long walks. He loves exploring his surroundings and taking in all the smells on new adventures. Robinson would love an adopter who is active and can include him in outdoor activities. If you're looking for a dog to join you on hikes and runs on the beach, Robinson is the dog for you.

Robinson is still working on his training and impulse control. Like most young pups, he gets very excited to meet and play with other dogs. He is working on saying hello to other dogs in a respectful manner and playing appropriately. Robinson will need an adopter who can slowly introduce him to the world of dog parks and puppy socialisation, so he can learn to be the best well-behaved dog at the play-dates or daycare.

Whilst Robinson is almost out of the puppy age group, he is still a pup at heart who needs an attentive adopter who can commit to his training. He needs help mastering his skills and manners, and learning how to live in a home.

Robinson may enjoy living with another dog, however, all canine family members will need to meet first at the shelter to make sure everyone gets along. Robinson enjoys the company of his humans and is suitable to live with secondary school-aged kids and older. Please make sure all humans and dogs come into the shelter for a meet and greet.

The countdown to Robinson's 1st birthday is on. If you think that Robinson is the dog for you, please come down to our North Melbourne shelter today!

28.9kg, with more growing to come!

This website is updated in real time at the conclusion of an adoption. There is a chance that while you are enquiring to meet your potential new pet, he or she may already be involved in an adoption process. If this happens, please consider another animals. Thanks for your patience.
