Do you have a heart (and home) for a special dog? Meet Cindy Lou, a sweetheart with a world of love to give- once she knows she's safe.
Cindy Lou is a girl's girl. She is very unsure of new people, and especially of unfamiliar men. A dog like Cindy Lou needs lots of time, patience and endless love to help teach her that people aren't something to be wary of. But once that effort is made and you win her heart, you'll be rewarded with a playful, endlessly loyal dog who will follow you like a shadow, trust you completely, and make every day a little brighter.
While Cindy Lou in a complex girl, the path to her heart is simple and straightforward- food. Food is Cindy Lou's love language, challenging even Gordan Ramsey himself with her adoration of anything that can be eaten. A few treats and Cindy Lou will be putty in your hands, although it still takes some time before she'll crawl into your lap for cuddles.
Due to her shy and sensitive nature, Cindy Lou would thrive in a home where she's the only dog and can enjoy a calm, low-pressure environment. For now, it's best to avoid dog-heavy areas, as she's still building her confidence and becomes overwhelmed easily. She'd also be happiest in a home without small children, not because she doesn't like them, but because she needs people who can respect her space and understand her subtle body language.
She's waiting for someone to believe in her and take a chance on her. Maybe it's you.
Come and adopt Cindy Lou today.
