A little bit about Benson

Hey there, I'm Benson - and while I may look like your classic happy-go-lucky wiggle bum now, it wasn't always this way.

When I first arrived here, I was scared and unsure. I didn't know what was going on, and no one ever came to claim me. I'd clearly been on my own for a while - and it showed. But with a little time, patience, and a lot of butt scratches, I remembered that people can be kind... and life can be good again.

And now? I'm basically a walking heart emoji.

I'm an American Staffy mix with a tail that literally never stops wagging.
I've got happy tappy toes, a face that could melt butter, and the kind of sweetness that just pours out of me.

I adore people - seriously, I'm a wiggle machine who thrives on love and attention. I'm also a butt-scratch connoisseur and a professional snuggler.

I may be suitable to live with a well-matched dog and I'm great with secondary school-aged kids - gentle, respectful, and just the right mix of goofy and soft.

Even though I had a rough start, I've blossomed into the kind of dog who will remind you every single day what unconditional love really looks like. I don't care where we live or what we do, as long as I get to be by your side. Whether it's curling up next to you on the couch or dancing with joy when you walk through the door, I'll love you with my whole heart - every minute of every day.

I've just been waiting for someone to see me... really see me. And if you're reading this thinking, "Maybe he's the one" - then maybe you're the one I've been waiting for, too.
