Bear is a big boisterous baby who is ready to leap into his new home with love and enthusiasm. With a sharp mind, a big heart, and a serious soft spot for plush toys, Bear is sure to put a smile on your face and a paw imprint on your heart. And we're not lying about the plush toy obsession. He'll trot around with it in his mouth like THE best prize ever, then nibble on it for hours on end.

This clever boy loves to learn, and would thrive with someone who can keep his brain busy. He already knows basic commands like 'sit' and 'shake' and picks up new things quickly. He's still learning about patience, and would love if his new family could continue with his training- with the added bonus of bonding with him while you train!

Bear gets along well with other dogs when he's out and about - he's friendly on walks and enjoys socializing (although he does like to bark 'hello'). But at home, he prefers to be your one and only. He can be a bit protective of his space and belongings with other dogs, so he's looking for a home where he doesn't have to share.

At the moment Bear would do best in a home with secondary school children or older, as his favourite way to get your attention is to jump aaallll over you; because how can you ignore a big goofy boy right in your face?! People who are experienced with big dogs or are willing to learn, will be the perfect match for Bear's big heart and even bigger potential.
