Meet Donald Duck (Ducky)!

This sweet young gentleman is looking for a forever home filled with patience, love, and the space to grow into the best-est of best friends!

Ducky hasn't taken too well to shelter life. He's a sensitive soul who would much rather be enjoying the finer things in life, like comfy beds, tasty treats, and the quiet company of someone special. While he may take a little time to warm up to new people and surroundings, once he does, his true personality begins to shine.

He's still learning the ropes of young dog life and will need some ongoing training and gentle guidance as he builds confidence. Ducky is always alert on walks, so helping him become familiar with his environment will go a long way in helping him feel safe and secure. Ducky has been working hard with our behaviour team to master his anxiety and continue to grow his confidence.

Deep down, Ducky is a total sweetheart. He just needs a family that understands and embraces his slower, more thoughtful approach to life. With the right people by his side, there's no doubt he'll grow into a loyal and loving companion. Ducky is suitable to live with secondary school aged-kids or older and is suitable to live with another dog who is calm and similar in temperament.
