Say hello to Ruby Friday!
Ruby is a stunning greyhound who is ready and waiting to get adopted! Unfortunately, Ruby did not find her pefect match at our recent Greyhound Adoption Program event, and is patiently waiting for her adopter to take her home.
Ruby is big cuddly girl, who loves the company of humans. She can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she just wants to be by your side. While Ruby isn't familar with basic skills like 'sit', she does know how to eat her fair share of delicious treats. Please make sure you have lots of treats waiting for Ruby at home!
Ruby is developing some ailments as she ages, that are classic to her greyhound breed. She is developing Pannus and some mild hip issues, however, at the moment this is not affecting her mobility or love of life! Our loveley vets can talk to you about managing these conditions in the home.
Ruby will need to live in a home with children aged 10 and over. She would be okay to live with other medium to large dogs, but unfortunately as Ruby has a racing past she isn't suitable to live with small dogs, pocket pets or cats. Ruby will need to live somewher with a back yard as she loves to have a zoomie run around. Please make sure all kids and canine companions come into the shelter for a meet and greet.
Ruby is a stunning girl who is looking for an adopter who will love her dearly and show her how fun the outside world is!
If you think that Ruby is the one for you, please come down to our North Melbourne
