Hi, I'm Percy Jackson.
Yes - that Percy Jackson: brave, loyal, a little dramatic, and ready to embark on my next big quest - finding my forever family.
I'm a larger-than-usual black and white husky, tipping the scales at a majestic 44kg of fluff, fun, and full-volume "Wooo-Wooo's." I came into the shelter through no fault of my own after my humans had to move overseas, and now I'm ready for a new home (and a new adventure).
Let's get to know each other:
I'm the Main Character
I love people. I thrive when I'm the centre of attention and will gladly follow you around the house like your oversized, fuzzy shadow. Expect plenty of cuddles, nose boops, and supervision while you prepare snacks. Butt scratches? Yes. Always.
I'm a talker - it's kind of my thing. Ask me if I want a treat or a walk and I'll give you my best dramatic "Wooo Woooo!" I'm full of personality and will keep you entertained with my vocal opinions.
I've met a few dogs here and I'm pretty relaxed. I usually keep to myself unless another dog really piques my interest. I could happily live with another dog - just bring them in to meet me first and we'll see if we click.
I'd suit a home with secondary school-aged kids or older, as I'm a big, excitable guy who might knock over tiny humans in all my enthusiasm. A husky-savvy home would be a bonus - someone who understands my need for structure, mental stimulation, and regular exercise.
I've got a heart as big as Olympus, a goofy streak a mile wide, and enough love to fill the whole camp (Camp Half-Blood, that is). If you're ready to welcome a loyal, adventurous, slightly dramatic sidekick into your life...
Come meet me - I promise it'll be legendary.
- Percy Jackson
