Meet Alvin!
Alvin and his siblings were surrendered into our care from a backyard breeding situation. They were scared, dirty, hungry and clearly in need of a lot of care. These brave young pups have spent some time here while they await their desexing surgery and are now all adoption ready!
Alvin is probably the most shy and timid out of his siblings. He has not experienced a lot of the world so far and as such can be quite scared. The key to his heart though is food. If you offer him tasty treats he takes them straight away and gobbles it up. Alvin is also super affectionate and loves being by your side lapping up the attention. He would be happy to snuggle up on the couch and be nice and close to you.
His new home will ideally be able to support Alvin with his fears and help him to build confidence by being gentle, reassuring, taking things slow and most importantly building his trust so he can learn to trust the world again. He is still so young with so much potential and we know the perfect person/s is out there for him, waiting to show him the ropes. Alvin wouldn't mind living with another well matched dog. A gentle and calm dog that can act as a teacher for him would be perfect. He does kindly request any kids in the home are secondary aged and above. He has been through a lot and at times can lack confidence so older kids would be best.
If you are looking to make a difference in a small pups life, come and meet Alvin today and take him home.
Weight: 11.8 kg (with more growing to do)
