A little bit about Buddy

Make way for Buddy!

This young pointer is looking for a adopter who can take them out on outdoor adventures, long walks and cuddle up on the couch at the end of the day!

Buddy is currently working with our behaviour team to grow his confidence around other dogs and new environments. Buddy is a smart boy who can sit, but will need further training for more skills and house manners. He is doing well with handling and enjoys being around the humans that he likes and is confortable with. Buddy will need an adopter who can take things at his pace, and build a routine for him slowly.

Buddy has boundless energy and would love an adopter who can keep up with his fast pace. If you're looking for a running partner who will set a good stride, Buddy will keep up with you and increase your pace! Buddy enjoys playing with toys and have a game of tug-a-war.

Buddy will need to be the only dog in the household and is not suitable to live with cats or pocket pets. He is not a fan of other dogs, and will need to be a dog that walks on lead away from off-leash dog parks. Buddy is happy to live with secondary school-aged kids or older. Please make sure all children are present for a meet and greet at the shelter.
