Make way for Ranger! This boisterous lad is ready and waiting to leave the shelter and start his new life!
Ranger is looking for an adopter who is active and enjoys a big playtime. He enjoys toys and tennis balls, and having a big zoomie run around. He loves the attention of his favourite humans and being the centre of attention.
Ranger came into our care as a stray. He most likely hasn't been to puppy school before and it shows in his range of skills and training. While he has been working on the basics here at the shelter, he will need an adopter who can continue working on his training and perfect his socialisation with other dogs.
Ranger needs an adopter who can build his confidence out and about in the world. He is a very excitable dog, but he can sometimes get a little timid and unsure in new situations. Ranger is learning to walk with patience and grace on the lead, and not be so distracted by everything going on around him. We're sure that with the right adopter and routine, Ranger will become a very confident and well-mannered boy.
Ranger is suitable to live with secondary school aged-kids and older. He may be suitable to live with another dog. Please make sure all kids and dogs in the household come down to the shelter for a meet and greet.
If you have a Ranger-shaped hole in your heart and home, please come down to our North Melbourne shelter to meet him today!
