Introducing Cara, our sweet and sensitive soul, looking for her forever home.
This sweet girl has been working one-on-one with her trainer to help build her confidence and live the best life she can. Cara has struggled with anxiety both here at the shelter and before coming into our care.
Cara is looking for either a quiet home with adults only, or one with older children as well (12 or older) who have experience with dogs. She would also prefer to be the only dog in the home, as she's not quite ready to be around dogs just yet.
Though she has come leaps and bounds with her trainer here at the shelter, she will need plenty of help from her adopters to continue helping her build confidence and be a happy and healthy pup!
Cara will need some help learning that being home alone isn't as scary as it sounds, so she would much prefer someone who is home more often than not, so she can slowly get the hang of being by herself with some enrichment toys to keep her busy.
Now that this brave girl has built some confidence, Cara has started to show her friendly side by enjoying pats, playing with toys, and doing lots of zoomies! And we would love to see her only go up from here!
If you believe you could offer Cara the perfect home she's been looking for, come down to meet her today!
*Please bring everyone who lives at home to a meet and greet with Cara*
XOXO,
Cara, 28.9kg
