A little bit about Alaska

Alaska's Turning 10 and She Refuses to Spend It in a Shelter

Alaska is a gorgeous Husky who's about to hit the big 1-0, and frankly, she's not interested in celebrating it in a shelter pen. This girl deserves a cake made of meat, a comfy couch, and a human who understands that Husky life means a little noise, a little hair, and a whole lot of personality.

She's a sweet, affectionate lady who will happily join you for adventures, walks, or just supervising from the comfiest spot in the house. Like any respectable Husky, Alaska has her quirks - she enjoys expressing her opinions (sometimes loudly), believes shedding is a lifestyle choice, and has perfected the art of looking innocent right after causing a little harmless mischief.

Alaska might get along with the right doggy roommate, and she's open to living with kids who are old enough (and wise enough) to treat her with respect. She's not a fan of thunderstorms, so she'll need someone who can reassure her when the sky gets a little too noisy.

She's playful when the mood strikes but just as happy to lounge around and soak up your company. More than anything, she wants a home where she can feel safe, loved, and spoiled rotten (preferably before the candles go on that birthday cake).

If you're ready for a beautiful, sassy, and slightly dramatic best friend who will make you laugh every single day, Alaska is ready to pack her bags and move in.
