A little bit about Rusty

Say hello to the one and only Rusty!

This little lady is looking for a new home and an adopter to call her own!

Rusty came into us as a stray and with no one to come and collect her, she is ready and waiting to get out of the shelter, and into a new home she can call her own. Rusty is a bundle of joy who loves to meet new people and bring a smile to all the humans around her!

Rusty will need an adopter who can continue her basic training with her and work on her basic skills. Rusty doesn't love walking on the lead at the moment, but she is slowly learning and enjoying her walks. She's working on sit and is evening thinking about it with the promise of treats! She is a very playful dog who would like to live with someone who can have lots of zoomie play time and lots of lovely long walks!

Rusty is looking to live as the only dog in the household, away from any other canines who can be a nuisance or disruption to her peace and quiet. Rusty is happy to live with children who are secondary-school age or older. Please make sure everyone comes in for a meet and greet to make sure everyone gets along.

Rusty will be sure to bring joy to whatever house she graces with her presence, if you think that could be with you, please come down to meet him at our North Melbourne shelter today!
