Ready for a little Jitterbug in your life?
Meet Jitter, who is not afraid to let you know that he is here to stay. He is a very friendly boy who is ready to leave us here at the shelter and find his forever home.
At a year and a half old, he is full of the energy you can expect from a young dog who is learning how big he is still. He needs someone who can keep him busy with walks, enrichment and training. He is still learning his manners and needs humans to be able to see when he needs a break. For these reasons we think he would be a great fit for a family with secondary school ages kids and older. Any children will need to be present for the meet and greet before he can go home.
Jitter does get the jitters when it comes to other dogs. He can be rude to them and isn't sure about them. He is still learning to ignore other dogs when on walks and will need help with this going forward. Jitter needs to be a solo dog in his family where no other doggos can bother him.
The quickest way to Jitter's heart? TOYS! Whether it be chasing a ball speeding past him or playing tug of war with a rope toy, this boy is happiest when playing with toys.
Jitter is looking for a warm home to finish off this cold winter by turning in the jitter and becoming a snuggle bug instead. If you think your home is the perfect one for him then waste no time and come in today!
