**NO APPLICATIONS REQUIRED - PLEASE ATTEND OUR CRANBOURNE SHELTER TO MEET AND ADOPT BAILEY. WE DO NOT OFFER ANY HOLDS**
Introducing Bailey!
This little guy is an absolute cutie and we have no doubt you'll fall in love with him as much as we have, however please read through his profile carefully to make sure you can give Bailey the ongoing care he requires.
Bailey is what we consider a 'stage 10 clinger', he is OBSESSED with his humans and wants to be with you 110% of the time. During his time here at The Home, Bailey has become a candidate of our behaviour program, where his trainers have been working closely with him on managing his frustration and anxiety when being left alone. In order to support him through this, Bailey is also receiving medication to help manage his behaviours and will likely require this ongoing into the future.
We believe Bailey would strongly benefit from sharing his new home with another high-energy canine companion that can keep him company when his other family members are not home. Bailey can be quite full on when meeting and spending time with other dogs, so he will require his new four-legged friend to be tolerant of him and be able to match his energy levels (which are through the roof!). Please ensure you bring any resident dogs with you for a meet & greet at our shelter so we can make sure they are a perfect match!
Bailey has also spent some time in foster care, where we learnt that he is wonderful around children and greatly enjoys their company! He is also tolerant of grooming including bathing and drying, and due to his breed will require regular grooming sessions.
A dog-savvy owner with prior experience in handling behavioural challenges is essential for Bailey. Commitment to ongoing behaviour modification and consistent management will be key to helping him grow into the best version of himself.
If you believe you can provide Bailey with the ongoing support and dedication that he requires, please come down for a meet & greet at our Cranbourne shelter today.
