A little bit about Jezza

Meet Jezza! Full of energy and bursting with personality, Jezza is super playful, loves to bounce around, and will happily jump all over you for attention.

Right now, he's bouncing off the walls a bit, but it's important to understand that a lot of this high energy is coming from the stress of being in a shelter environment. With all the noise, unfamiliar smells, and constant activity, it's hard for him to fully relax. Once he's in a calm, loving home where he can decompress and settle into a routine, we expect he'll become the dog he's meant to be. Jezza would love an active adopter who can help him burn off that energy in positive ways, while also giving him the time and space to settle into being just a regular, happy dog.

Jezza is especially fond of any toys he can get his paws on, and can entertain himself for ages... when he's not trying to entertain you! We will warn you, he has a knack for destroying his toys, so the tougher the better. And when he finds his favourite toy? He'll happily parade it around like he just caught a prize winning fish- and expects you to be just as impressed as he is.

Despite all the chaos, Jezza knows exactly how to pull out those puppy-dog eyes to get what he wants. With his adorable face and goofy smile, he's is sure to win you over in a heartbeat. At 9 months old he's in his cheeky rebellious stage. He's not a crazy puppy, not yet a calm adult.

He's been focusing on building good manners and habits, but he'll definitely need a family ready to invest time in consistent training and structure. Jezza can get overwhelmed easily so a home that can provide him with a structured routine and plenty of mental and physical enrichment is a must. This will ensure he gets off to a wonderful and successful start in his new home.
