A little bit about Maxy

Meet Maxy!

When Maxy first came into our care, he was underweight, covered in fleas, and emotionally shut down. He had clearly been through a rough patch, and it took time, patience, and love to help him rediscover the world around him.

Now? Maxy is a completely different dog. He's gained weight, found his sparkle, and these days he wears the biggest smile on his face.

He absolutely loves going for walks, not in a hurry, just happy to stroll at his own pace and take in all the scents around him. Walks are his little adventures, and he enjoys every minute of them.

Maxy also has a silly, playful side that's starting to shine through.

He perks right up at the sound of a squeaky toy, happily chasing after it with a bounce in his step. Though he's still working on the whole "bring it back" part! It's all part of his charm.

Maxy is a gentle, calm companion who would do best in a peaceful home where he can continue to feel safe and loved. He's come a long way and is ready to spend the rest of his life being cherished and giving that love right back.
