Meet Dazza!
Dazza came into our care as his previous owner was unable to continue looking after him. He's far too young to be in the shelter, so we want to help him find and settle into his forever home!
Dazza can be a pretty excitable boy, so he is best suited to go to a home that are experienced with large breeds, and have only secondary school-aged children and older in the household. He will need ongoing training, especially in his adolescence. As he has heaps and bounds of energy, he will also need his family to have an active lifestyle to keep up with him.
Though we know Dazza needs some extra help in refining his impulse control, and will need lots of enrichment. Snuffle mats are a great start, but we all know what labs are like, so not TOO many treats ;). Of course, Dazza is a pretty switched-on pupper. He's already nailed basic skills such as "sit" and "up", and was noted in his foster home to respond to a "toilet" cue.
Dazza REALLY likes his canine companions, and may be suitable to go home with a well-matched dog, however, because he loves them so much and struggles a little bit with his impulse control, he will need a little bit of help ignoring new dogs when setlling into his home life.
Dazza is the sweetest boy, and he's sure to bring so much joy and just as many laughs to his new family. Come and adopt him today!
