A little bit about Clover

Meet Clover!

Clover came into our care through no fault of her own, after a change in circumstance meaning her previous family could no longer care for her. Our sweet girl was diagnosed with Generalised Anxiety Disorder after being assessed by our wonderful behavioural veterinarian, and has come leaps and bounds, but will need her forever family to take things nice and slow with her.

Clover can be pretty unsure when it comes to unfamiliar people and can be a little unsure of handling. As such, she will need her forever family to engage in counter-conditioning to handling, and will need a little bit of assistance in building up her confidence in unfamiliar environments and with unfamiliar people and dogs. As she can be a little cautious around handling and unfamiliar people, she will need to go to an adults-only household (16+ please!) so they understand how to care for her and to take interactions at her pace.

Clover will need to be the only dog in the household, but with all the love she's ready to give, you won't be missing out at all! She's the sweetest girl and has enough personality and cuddle energy to fill your home.

If Clover sounds like the girl for you, come and adopt her from our North Melbourne shelter today! She can't wait to meet you.
