Whilst not a blue macaw, this gorgeous black kelpie has equally as much energy and charisma and is looking at his next adventure- a forever home!

Rio's the kind of dog who leaps into life. His play-style is bold and enthusiastic, meaning he's best as the solo star of your household (no other dogs, please!). He already knows sit on command and is currently rehearsing his role as your forever Best Boy.

BEHIND THE SCENES:
Like many a brilliant performer, Rio has a sensitive side. He needs to work with a gentle, supportive director (that could be you!) to help him feel secure around unfailiar humans and doggo pals. With force-free training and counter-conditioning to handling, Rio is set to grow his confidence with the right coaching. Rio does have a risk of anxiety, so he'll need a family committed to helping him feel safe.
