A little bit about Koby

Introducing Koby!

Koby came to the shelter through no fault of his own, as his previous owner could no longer afford to care for him. He's a big boy, with plenty of strength and energy, so he's looking for a family with secondary school-aged children and older that are keen to match his energy and have the strength to do so!

He can get pretty excited when he sees other puppy friends, so will need a little bit of encouragement to not get TOO excited, but may be suitable to go home with a well-matched canine companion. He's a little bit nervous here in the shelter, so we'd love to see him get out of here sooner rather than later.

In the shelter, we've learnt that he likes to have a good sniff of his human friends before receiving a pet, and though he doesn't have a full grasp of foundation skills just yet, with force-free training and plenty of treats, he's sure to master a couple of skills in no time!

As he can be a little bit of a shy boy, he will need some support from his forever family to build up confidence with unfamiliar people and dogs.
