A little bit about Whisky

Say hello to Whisky - a 2-year-old Staffy x Labrador mix with a big heart, a goofy grin, and an even bigger love for snacks!

Weighing in at 30kg of pure sweetness, Whisky is a curious adventurer who's discovered that life isn't so scary when it comes with tasty treats, fun walks, and kind humans. He absolutely loves getting out and about, especially when he can wander through the leaves with his nose to the ground, sniffing out every exciting scent.

Since arriving at The Lost Dogs' Home, he's been blossoming into a confident, playful pup who enjoys showing off his silly side and learning cool tricks (especially when foods involved). He's affectionate with people he knows, and once he's comfy, his personality really shines. Whisky has been working hard with our behaviour trainers, and we know that with the right adopter, he can continue his training in his new home and continue to grow into a confident dog.

Whisky will need to be the only dog in the household, and is happy to live with secondary-school aged kids or older. He enjoys having his own space, but once he gets to know you, he will be glued to your side.
