Introducing Sail Boat!
Sail Boat spent some time in foster, and here's what her wonderful family had to say about her:
"Sail Boat is one of a kind. She is cute, sweet, the biggest snuggle bug and the world's loudest snorer. Sail boat loves to sleep and loves to be curled up beside you or sprawled belly up on top of you.
Sail Boat can hold her own at home by herself. She will happily lay on the couch for a couple hours and chill out. She's never stressed when we leave, and happy when we come home. She's also making great progress on potty training!
She will need more confidence building when she gets to her forever home, particularly with some gradual and positive introduction to unfamiliar dogs, people and environments. She is great on lead and a super polite walker, however, she does have a tendency to pull backwards against the leash if she doesn't want to go in a certain direction. She is semi-food motivated (kibble doesn't cut it), is not toy motivated, but she is positive talk motivated! She seems to like human
women better than men, but we've only tested on a small sample size. She loves meeting humans in the comfort of her own home and will immediately ask for pats."
Sail boat's forever fam will just need to be super patient, with either dog-savvy primary school aged children, or those aged 12+ in the household, and give her lots of encouragement, and she'll make the best family pet. Pending a meet and greet, she may even be able to go home with a well-matched dog!
