A little bit about Barty
If you're looking for a dog who's equal parts stunning and silly, then Barty is your guy!
Barty is a big, goofy boy with classic staffy energy and just the right amount of cheekiness. He's the kind of dog who will turn heads wherever he goes, not just because he's so handsome, but because his playful personality is impossible to ignore.
Barty's tail NEVER stops wagging, he is so full of joy and love it's contagious. He also has a big grin on his face at all times, it's the cutest smile ever.
Underneath all that charisma, though, Barty is still learning how to feel totally confident in the world. He can be a bit unsure around unfamiliar people and in new situations, but with positive introductions, plenty of praise, and a little patience, he really starts to shine.
Barty would love a home with secondary school-aged kids or older, and he might also enjoy having another medium-to-large dog friend to pal around with - as long as introductions are done gradually and positively.
Like most staffies, Barty has energy to burn and thrives with people who love to play, exercise, and laugh at his antics. At the same time, he's working hard on his manners, so his family will need to continue his force-free training - building his confidence, helping him feel good about being handled and wearing a harness, and teaching him that the world isn't such a scary place after all.
