Introducing Poppy,
This beautiful girl arrived to the sheler as a stray, with no body coming forward to claim her she is now ready to find her new forever home.
Poppy is best suited to an older household with no young children, as she can be a little unsure about little ones & a bit boisterious at times too.
Poppy is still working on her social skills around other animals, whilst she has shown some postitve signs she is still building her confidence therefore at this stage will need to be the only animal in the household, our post adoption training team can help set you up for success with on going socialisation support.
Poppy spent a little bit of time in foster care whilst she was waiting to get desexed, she did really well in the home with lots of positive feedback, she especially loves tennis balls & cuddles on the couch with you!
If Poppy sounds like the girl for you come on down to the North Melbourne shelter to meet her!
